We have an SQL Delta Trial version and try connecting to a remote server. We entered the correct IP adress and username, and the password in the target connection fields, but still can't connect. On remote dedicated server, we have Parallels Plesk Panel for administrating the server. On MSSQL Server 2012, we allowed remote connection to the SQL server. Can you suggest what else to check?

If you can't establish a connection, don't forget to run the application using Administrator rights. To do this, right click on the program's icon and select Run as administrator. This might be the reason why you can't connect to your server. Also, make sure that the application is allowed to communicate with external sources (have Firewall permissions).

It seems that the developer recently released a new version of the application (August 2014). I suggest that you download the latest version and try to connect to the server again using this one. You can obtain a download link for a trial version, or you can purchase a full version from the following official website.
